Dear Marcus,

Update about the babies. You will be pleased to know they are both eating well. Yesterday the slightly bigger one started eating very well early evening and was active exploring. The other star dug herself in the hot area, occasionally popping her head out and turning around. Same this morning and afternoon.

5pm she surfaced for a drink then started eating very well. I have studied them very closely, both very beautiful, shells very different patterns. This will help tell them apart. They will be named on Monday, my daughter is keen to name them, she is in London this weekend and arrives home Monday. I weighed them when they arrived and will log their weight on a regular basis. Many thanks, they are very cute and beautiful. I was keen to let you know they are both eating now.

Just to let you know that our little tortoise has arrived safe and sound. She has done her marathon exploration of her new home, had a brief warm bath. Spotted Jaja and is basking under the light whilst checking out the temperature sensor. Thank you, she is great. Active bright and small.

Hi Marcus,

Just a little update and a quick question.
The new arrival has been christened "Twinkle" and she seems so have settled in really well. She dosen't seem at all phased by us coming near the viv now and carries on with whatever she was doing.

Last night she even climbed onto the top of her hollow log and slid off the other side! The girls thought this was fab, she does seem as if she has an adventurous nature. Tonight we have all handled her and she seems perfectly happy with us. The girls find it really sweet as every night she has burowed herself under the substrate to go to sleep!

Hi Marcus,

I am delighted to say that my little star is doing very well. He is loving the warm weather although it has been a bit too hot recently even for him.

He grazes enthusiastically and obviously enjoys being out on warm days. I am quite keen to get a friend, if you remember I was keen to have a pair but wanted to make sure the first one settled in. Satu has grown from 21gms and now weighs 36gms, quite a rapid growth as I am used to Iberas.

Apparently the man had locked his keys in his van. If he had told me the truth I could have picked them up from him an hour earlier instead of waiting for him to arrive at 1.40pm, Anyway they were a little cold but soon warmed up with a warm bath then spread out in all directions when I put them in their new home and had a good wonder round.

Not interested in food yet though. Will try them again tomorrow rather than keep bothering them.
They are so cute and so round. Not like my Hermans at all and they move faster too.

Thanks for sending them and will keep in touch with their progress.

They settled in very quickly. Indeed, they tucked into a hearty breakfast of dandelions and sowthistles first thing on Tuesday morning. Thank you very much for showing me your collection, it's always interesting to see how other people do things.

I bought two Indian stars from you in December/January, just thought I would let you know they are doing really well, the female is actually quite greedy and mischeivious, she is forever trying to climb things in her enclosure....

Yes it was me who had 2 of your babies last year, they are doing really well i am very pleased with them and they are so tame....

Anyway thankyou for the care sheet i tend to collect as much info as possible so that i can give them the best and usually someone who has them or has some experiance are the best people to keep in touch with
